My fellow Californians,
I stand here in front of our Capitol in Sacramento—the place where every major challenge facing this state must ultimately be solved. This is where affordability is addressed, where public safety is shaped, where veterans’ issues are heard, and most importantly where the future of our children is decided. And this is where I intend to bring real change.
I am running as an independent candidate for governor—for all Californians. I intend to become the first true independent governor in the history of this state. And I’m here to tell you: the road to victory is far simpler than the political insiders want you to believe.
One out of every four registered voters in California is an independent. That’s 25% of the electorate. That means independents are already positioned to lead—if we stand together with discipline and clarity.
Some people will ask, Kellel, “What about the other independents in the race?” Let’s be honest: many of them have run before under different banners. Some come from the far right, some from the far left. They are not truly independent in spirit or in practice. Some switched labels at the last minute to split votes and protect the same old political machinery—machinery that has failed Californians for decades.
That game ends here. For the first time, independents have a candidate who is truly one of them. Stay with me, and I will lead you to victory.
And to the veterans and active‑duty military personnel who call California home—or plan to return here after service—this message is for you. For too long, your voices have been overlooked. You’ve watched friends and family leave the state because of affordability, because of safety concerns, because of policies that made you feel unheard.
For the first time, you have a 20‑year veteran standing before you. Someone who has deployed with you, someone who has served beside you, someone who understands your sacrifices because I have lived them. Stand with me, and you will have unwavering support—support that turns into action, not empty promises.
Independents. Veterans. Military families. Common‑sense Democrats. Common‑sense Republicans. Together, we can build one of the strongest coalitions this state has ever seen.
Because you will not get change by electing candidates backed by the same entrenched forces that have kept California stuck. When the same insiders win, the regular person loses. The house always wins—unless the people decide otherwise.
California, this is your once‑in‑a‑generation chance to break that cycle. You have always been a state of innovation, resilience, and reinvention. Now it’s time to innovate our political landscape. On June 2nd, we set the pace for this race and claim the lead needed to advance to the general election.
The key is discipline. Ignore the noise. Ignore the polls. Let the other candidates shout at each other for the next few weeks. When the moment comes, only one vote matters—the vote you cast.
And that vote is us. Together, we will turn this state around. Together, we will make history. And together, we will build a California that works for everyone.
Thank you.
